Summer Vacations In Dubai

22 Aug 2024

Introduction

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Dubai! My aunt lives there, so my mom and I stayed at her house. It was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and exploration.
Highlights about the place

Dubai, a gem in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is a city where tradition meets modernity. It’s home to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. From its towering skyscrapers to its luxurious lifestyle, Dubai offers a blend of contemporary and cultural experiences.

My Journey

My father booked the flight for my mom and me to Dubai. Fortunately, we didn’t need to book a hotel since my aunt graciously hosted us. Every time we visit Dubai, we stay with her, which makes the trip feel even more special.

We spent ten days exploring various attractions. We visited the Burj Khalifa, Global Village, the zoo, and the beach, among other places. While the Burj Khalifa is undoubtedly iconic and impressive, I found Global Village to be the most fascinating. It showcased products, food, and cultures from around the world, offering a vibrant and immersive experience.

Upon arriving in Dubai, I was immediately struck by its luxury. The malls were opulent, and even the airport exuded sophistication. I was so enchanted that I joked about wanting to stay forever!

The food in Dubai was another highlight. There was such a variety to choose from. My aunt introduced me to a snack called salad chips, which were not only delicious but also healthy. The fresh produce and groceries in Dubai were remarkable, and my aunt did all her shopping online, which was quite different from our usual shopping routine.

One of the fun activities was a visit to a play zone that my aunt took me to. It was incredibly luxurious and offered a wide range of games compared to what we have back home. The ticket system allowed me to collect points and redeem them for various prizes.

Another memorable visit was to the Miracle Garden. It was a stunning display of flowers and plants, with creative installations like an airplane made entirely of plants, complete with a working turbine. One of the funniest moments was buying a helium dolphin balloon at the garden, which stayed with me throughout the trip.

The Only Thing I Didn’t Like

There was just one downside: the heat. Being in a desert, Dubai can get extremely hot, which meant we had to spend most of our daytime indoors. We only ventured out in the early evening or at dusk to avoid the intense heat. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic.

Conclusion

My summer vacation in Dubai was an amazing experience filled with luxury, adventure, and cultural exploration. From the stunning views of the Burj Khalifa to the vibrant Global Village, Dubai offered a wealth of experiences that I will cherish.
