Important Update Regarding Language Selection for Grade IX & X (CBSE Guidelines)*

This is to inform all parents about the latest changes in language selection as per CBSE guidelines.
According to the CBSE language formula, schools are required to offer R1, R2, and R3 languages compulsorily, out of which at least two languages must be Indian languages. This change is applicable for students of Grades IX and X from the current academic year itself.
Accordingly, the school has decided to implement the following changes in compliance with CBSE norms:
1. Marathi will be mandatory for all Grade IX and X students.
2. To avoid the burden of purchasing a new textbook and to reduce academic pressure on students, the Grade VIII Marathi textbook will continue to be used in Grade IX as well.
3. Assessments for Marathi in Grade IX will be conducted in the same manner as other subjects. The necessary changes have been updated in the timetable and will be reflected in the Edunext App.
4. For Grade X students, Marathi assessment will be conducted internally. No CBSE Board examination will be held for Marathi; however, the internal assessment marks will be reflected in the CBSE marksheet.
