Greetings of the day!
Tomorrow, 15th August 2026, we will be celebrating our 80th Independence Day with great pride and patriotic spirit. A short cultural programme has been arranged for the students on this special occasion.
Please note the following important details:
- Students from Preschool to Grade 12 are invited to attend the programme.
- Students must report to school sharp at 7:30 a.m.
- Dispersal will be at 11:30 a.m.
- School buses will ply as usual for students availing of the bus facility.
- Students must come in proper school uniform, with neatly combed hair, polished shoes, and their ID cards.
- As this programme is arranged only for students, attendance is mandatory for all students from Preschool to Grade 12.
As this is a special occasion to honour our Nation and the National Flag, we request all students to reach school strictly on time. The flag-hoisting ceremony is an important part of the celebration, and punctuality reflects our respect, discipline, and love for our country.
We have observed that some people tend to consider Independence Day simply as a holiday. However, 15th August is much more than a holiday—it is a day of national pride and remembrance. It is a day to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrate the freedom that our nation achieved after years of struggle.
Therefore, we strongly encourage every student to be present and participate in this significant celebration. Let us come together as a school community to celebrate the values of freedom, unity, courage, responsibility, and patriotism, and instil in our students a deep sense of respect and pride for our nation.
